Founded in 1840 by James Johnston of Campbelltown, Scotland, Oakbank was named after an area near Glasgow. James and his brother established their Oakbank Brewery in 1843. The original building is on the bank of the Onkaparinga River and you can buy wines and soft drinks there.

Suite 68 is a three bedroom house divided into two self contained units, both with separate entry points, car ports, bathrooms and all other facilities. Each unit has new high quality furnishings.

The front unit consists of open living area with television and DVD player. Bedroom has queen size bed, walk in robe and ensuite and there is a sofa bed in the lounge. Kitchen includes a refrigerator, toaster, kettle and microware.

Based in Mount Barker in the Adelaide Hills, we create beautifully crafted beers with amazing malt and hop flavours. Visitors to the Brewshed can sample and buy the full range of beers.
With a licensed Cellar Door, groups of eight up to 25 can book a tour with the head brewer to learn about the fire brew process, beer flavours and beer history. Tour and group bookings are essential.
We serve brew food including buttered Brezels, Pony Burgers, Currywurst and regional tasting platters. With a barista on site, coffee/tea and sweets are on offer for non-beer drinkers.

The weavers, Peter Stapleton and Mary Cassini, create their own patterns, which are fascinating to see emerging on the looms. The finished tapestries and textiles ranging from throw rugs to suit fabrics, upholstery, stoles and scarves can be purchased in the gallery located under the 1889 stone brew tower.
