Surrounded by Redgrave Park, tennis courts, pool and bowling club, the Caravan Park is also within easy walking distance to Coolamon's golf course. Visitors and Travellers have access to fully powered caravanning and camping sites, BBQ facilities, sullage dump point, and other amenities for just $10.00 per site per night.

Coolamon Motel is located 40 kilometres north of Wagga Wagga. Opened in 2007, the first motel in Coolamon is located within walking distance of the main street, hotels, parks and the Coolamon Sport and Recreation Club. 10 units are available which include queen or twin single beds, air-conditioning, flat screen television's, kitchenettes with refrigerators and tea/coffee making facilities. The two family rooms have one queen and two single beds, which are in separate bedrooms, and kitchenette's have microwaves. One room has disabled access. Up-To-Date Store Cultural and Learning Precinct

For generations travellers and the families of Coolamon were served by the Up-To-Date Store. It was generally known as the place were you could get anything from a needle to a hay stack. The Coolamon Shire Council has created a museum around a retail experience that no longer exists. It's a charming world of service. A space of historical significance which includes a fully functioning Lamson Cash Railway Machine (the only known ball-style cash railway system in the world that is still in its original location), and the 'Mavis Furner Collection' and provides a space for travelling exhibitions, art shows and seminars. Included in the museum experience is the collection of Garth Jones farm machinery. The collection highlights the intimate link the region and the Store had with the development of agriculture....

Capture Coolamon Shire Photography Competition is open to both professional and amateur photographers everywhere, however, all entries must have been taken within the Coolamon Shire boundary. There will be both Youth and Open Sections and cash prizes awarded across five categories, including the AUD1000 Cathie Thompson Prize. Entries close Friday, 14 October 2016. The Official Opening will take place on Friday, 28 October. AUD15 per person includes canapés. The evening's program will feature live entertainment and the Official Awards Ceremony.
