The first Jan Powers Farmers Markets came to colourful and loud life at the Brisbane Powerhouse site; and today, almost a full generation later, Brisbane is a city indelibly inked with love for Farmers Markets. Jan singularly pushed City regulations again and again to sow the seed of Farmers Markets, and educate Brisbane of the provenance of their food.
