  Unfortunate visit! Saw this place advertised on side of road on way to tumbulgum , thought we’d have a look as we love tropical fruits! We did a tour and tasting experience, but that was it, just a meagre tasting, very meagrely, more like an advertiser to make you hungry !!! On return from garden tour we were ushered to area near restaurant, obviously to pay for a full lunch! They sell varieties of tropical fruits that are in season BUT they are way more expensive than a supermarket, avos $3.00 each!!! Tour cost us $100.00 for 2 people! Very very overpriced, they have a signboard out front with names of tv shows they’ve been on, big noting themselves to jack up prices, this place has set itself up for the Japanese coach tourist market and doesn’t cater for the Australian market, extremely overpriced and not much to see, leave this one out of your plans, stop at a local store on side of road, more variety and quarter the price!!

  Did a weekend tour and it didn’t live up to they’re promises!! We didn’t get to try the tropical fruits as they weren’t in season, ??? Tried charging us to buy any fruit to taste!!

  We travelled to the Gold Coast last month and I used Surf City Transfers to travel to and from our apartment to join a Crab Tour in Tweed River and Tropical Fruit World. Karen was the one who contacted me and follow our itinerary to make sure everything's good. She helped us a lot. The day was so smooth, Darcy contacted me the day before the tour and Christine picked us up the next day. Christine was amazing, professional and friendly. She showed us around the area and the beach has a really stunning view. She also introduced a lot about the area and the Tropical Fruit World, that gave us a lot of background information. Thank you so much Surf City Transfers. We would highly recommend this company.

  Visited with grandchildren but found it also educational for myself - if you are a local the price is discounted and is not that expensive considering it can take up to three hours to do every thing.
